Mission:
DeKalb Technical College is committed to promoting and improving literacy skills by providing literacy and English language services responsive to the citizens of the community and by preparing citizens to access higher education and employment opportunities in a progressive workplace. This will be accomplished by providing basic, intermediate and advanced level instruction in literacy and English language education specific to the needs of the target population. Vision
Our vision is of a comprehensive system of adult literacy and English
literacy instruction which changes lives and enhances parental involvement
and job readiness in adults living in a society of rapidly changing
demographic, economic, and technological trends.
