DeKalb Technical College is committed to meeting the educational needs of students who commute daily to classes. While no attempt is made to duplicate or replace that portion of the student's life environment filled by the home, religious affiliation, or community organizations, it is recognized that students benefit from involvement in campus organizations and activities. The student's role in decision-making at DeKalb Technical College focuses upon student life on campus and the learning environment of the classrooms and laboratories of the College. The College has representative student body input through student organizations to address matters such as clubs, social activities, and intramural events. The College involves students in the process of evaluating the academic environment through their individual confidential written evaluations conducted periodically during the school year and their participation on program advisory committees.
