Student-Initiated Withdrawal A student who officially withdraws by the mid-point of a course will receive a grade of "W." A student who withdraws after the mid-point and before the final week of classes from a course should receive a "W" if passing or "WF" if failing. A student will not be permitted to withdraw from a class during the final week of a course. The official date of withdrawal will be the date the Withdrawal Form is transacted in the Registrar's Office. Refunds, if any, will be made according to the refund schedule published in the Schedule of Classes. Instructor-Initiated Withdrawal Any student whose conduct interferes with the rights of other students to pursue their educational objectives in an orderly manner may be withdrawn through the Registrar's Office, and a "W" or "WF" will be assigned at the end of the quarter. Any student may appeal an instructor-initiated withdrawal through the Department Chairperson within ten days after the withdrawal goes into effect. No refund of fees is made when a student is officially withdrawn from a course by an instructor. College Withdrawal Finance Related Withdrawal |
