Evening/Weekend Classes

Evening/Weekend credit classes are provided to meet the diverse educational needs of students. The admission requirements, application deadlines, and other regulations are the same as those for other students. Evening/Weekend students must complete an application for admission to the College and present all material required and described under Admissions and Placement. Registration for classes offered during evening/weekend times is held during the same period as registration for day classes. The evening/weekend classes contain the same material and requirements as day classes.

Each student is expected to meet the standards of performance and pass the examinations day students are required to complete. Grades and progress toward graduation are based on the same system applicable to full-time students. As a general rule, students with full-time employment taking classes in the evening/weekend are encouraged to take no more than two classes per quarter. Evening classes are offered Monday through Thursday evenings each week, with various classes meeting from one to four times per week. Weekend classes are offered on Saturday mornings only.
