How do I login to my online course?

Here is how.

1. Go to the website. http://gvtc7.blackboard.com
2. Key in your username. What is your username? It is the following:

New login and password: 30_STUDENTIDNUMBER (no spaces & also note there is an underscore separating the two digit college identifier and your student ID.)  30 is the DeKalb Tech two digit college extension. 

3. Press the Tab key.
4. Key in your password. What is your password? Your password is the same as your username.

Username: 30_studentID  Example: 30_900xxxxxx
Password: 30_studentID  Example: 30_900xxxxxx

6. Click the Login button.
7. Your course(s) will be listed at the bottom the page.

Please change your password once you have logged successfully into the system.

The steps for changing your password are:

1. Login to Blackboard and click the link for your course.
2. Click on the Tools link, click on the link "Personal Information"
3. Then click on Change Password link
