Online Course Login Information Page

LOGIN INFORMATION

NOTE: At the beginning of each quarter ALL Blackboard Usernames and Passwords will be RESET to the default password as indicated below.

Blackboard link is http://gvtc7.blackboard.com.

Login and password:

30_STUDENTIDNUMBER (no spaces & also note there is an underscore separating the two digit college identifier and your student ID.)  30 is the DeKalb Tech two digit college identifier. 

Your password is the same as your username.

Username: 30_studentID  Example: 30_900xxxxxx
Password: 30_studentID  Example: 30_900xxxxxx

Please change your password once you have logged successfully into the system.

Your current quarter classes will not be available until the 1st day of classes. You always need to look for your online courses on the 1st day of the quarter.  All online courses begin the 1st day of classes so you need to try to login on the 1st or 2nd day of class for the quarter. Please try your login after 2pm on the 1st day of class.

If you add a class during drop/add it may take up to 24 hours for the class to be added to Blackboard.

Remember to come to this website before you attempt to login on the first day of classes.  Any changes to online course login information will be published here first. This information is subject to change without notice. Come back to this page at the beginning of every quarter.
