Command
Spanish®
Command Spanish is now being offered at DeKalb Tech. Command Spanish
is a leading provider of customized Spanish language instruction
and requires NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE of Spanish. The program offers courses
related to a specific workforce field. For example, a business can
enroll with Economic Development to train its employees in Supervising
Spanish-speaking Employees.
All
of the courses are designed to teach greetings, etiquette, safety
and medical terminology, and more. The program, however, does not
teach grammar. Instead, Command Spanish is designed to teach fundamental
words and phrases to assist employees on the job when interacting
with Spanish-speaking persons.
Goodyear Tire in Covington, GA was the first business to take advantage
of our Command Spanish program. Lanie Bevan, a certified Command Spanish
instructor, taught the class at the Goodyear location for 34 of its
employees.
