Membership in Professional Organizations

DeKalb Technical College and its employees shall strive to maintain a constructive relationship with any organization that enhances its educational programs; supports representative government; and promotes cooperation among the College and the community. Employees have the right to join or not to join professional organizations. Membership and participation in activities by employees in professional organizations is strongly encouraged.

Membership in organizations is at the expense of the individual and membership expenses incurred are not reimbursable by the College (membership dues, etc.).

DeKalb Technical College business membership in state, regional and national professional organizations shall be maintained as appropriate.
