The DeKalb Tech Foundation, Inc., a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in 1987 under the laws of the State of Georgia, was created to provide scholarships and endowments, assist in the financing of capital improvements, and promote programs for the development of DeKalb Technical College. Contributions are used to build and maintain academic and support programs at the College.
Statement of the Purpose
The prime purpose of this corporation (Foundation) shall be to assist DeKalb Technical College in achieving and maintaining a high quality program of post-secondary education and community participation (with DeKalb Technical College the recipient of contributions from the public), to raise funds, and to make contributions to educational programs of DeKalb Technical College District (DeKalb, Newton, Morgan, and Rockdale Counties).
Statement of the Mission
The mission of the DeKalb Tech Foundation is to give members of our community the opportunity to assist and invest in the development of quality educational opportunities for all. In concert with the DeKalb Technical College District (DeKalb, Newton, Rockdale, and Morgan counties) and the regional community it serves, the DeKalb Tech Foundation will commit itself to work towards educational excellence.
