What Every Donor Needs to Know
Thank you for your interest in supporting DeKalb Technical College; all gifts to the college are greatly appreciated. The DTC Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Internal Revenue Service code section 501(c)(3). The DTC Foundation records all gifts into the proper accounts and provides gift receipts to donors. Your acknowledgement letter serves as your official tax receipt. All gifts postmarked by December 31 will be receipted for that year's tax credit. Financial information will be provided in response to reasonable and specific requests. In every case, however, it is the policy that the names of donors and prospective donors as well as any personal or financial information be held in the strictest confidence. You may leave all or a portion of your gift unrestricted to provide the greatest flexibility to meet the college's most pressing needs as they arise. You may also choose to designate your gift for any established program at DeKalb Technical College. Your gift designation should be noted on your check or in a letter accompanying your gift.
Please make your check out to "The DTC Foundation" and mail to:

Memorial and Honorary Gifts:
Gifts may be made in memory or in honor of an alumnus, family member, instructor, friend, or student. When a memorial or honorary gift is received, the DTC Foundation notifies the next of kin or the honoree and the gift is administered as the donor specifies. Please provide the DTC Foundation with the names and addresses of those you wish to be notified.
If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Helen Mathis, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, 404-297-9522 x 2523 or by email at mathish@dekalbtech.edu.
