DeKalb Technical College students winners at national conference
Seven Computer Information System (CIS) students from DeKalb Technical College recently attended the 2008 Association Information Technology Professionals (AITP) 13th Annual National Collegiate Conference. The students attended informative lectures, took professional certification tests, networked with fellow students, met with potential employers, and participated successfully in various competitions against students from both two- and four-year colleges. Adrian Andrews was a finalist in the PC Troubleshooting competition beating more than 85% of other contestants. Bryan Denney was a top ten finalist out of sixty submissions in the Video Contest, and the team’s banner was awarded the national second-place trophy in the banner contest.
