DeKalb Technical College receives EMS training vehicle from Newton Medical Center

According to a recent survey, more than a third of the state’s emergency medical services have at least one unfilled EMT position and more than half have an unfilled job for a paramedic, which requires a higher level of training. Newton Medical Center recently donated an ambulance for use in training emergency medical personnel at DeKalb Technical College.  Capt. Carli Cuendet, with Newton Medical EMS, was instrumental in securing this vehicle for the College.
