English as a Second Language Students Graduate at Latin American Association
DeKalb Technical College’s Latin American Association site was the site for the recent graduation ceremony of students completing their levels one through six. Students showcased their learning gains through songs and speeches.
Students heard an inspiring message from Ms. Leatricia Williams, the Regional Education Coordinator for the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education, as she encouraged the students to “embrace their new culture without losing their own cultural identity and to continue their English studies.”
