DeKalb Technical College Inducts Students into National Adult Education Honor Society

DeKalb Technical College’s Adult Literacy program recently inducted 12 students into the National Adult Education Honor Society.  The ceremony, which was held at the Paul M. Starnes Center in Clarkston, recognized students who had shown exceptional diligence, cooperation, and attendance in their adult education classes.  The student’s only obligation in being a member of the Honor Society is to share the value of adult literacy with family and friends.  Each new inductee was introduced by their nominating teacher and received a certificate and lapel pin with the torch symbol of the National Adult Education Honor Society.
