State Senator Steve Henson visits DeKalb Technical College
Georgia State Senator Steve Henson, District 41, recently met with DeKalb Technical College (DTC) officials to discuss issues, challenges, and accomplishments of the College and how the local legislative delegation can assist DTC in continuing to meet its mission. Senator Henson is a strong supporter of technical education and the important role that DeKalb Technical College plays in the economic development of DeKalb County. Senator Henson, DTC President Dr. Robin Hoffman, Academic Affairs Vice President Tanya Gorman, and Student Affairs Vice President Larry Teems toured the new academic building and conference center currently under construction on the Clarkston Campus of DTC. “Senator Henson was highly impressed with the new academic building,” said VP Teems. “He believes that the Conference Center is a wonderful addition to our community and will generate even more interest in the College and its programs once business, industry, governmental groups, and the community begin to use the facility.”
