DeKalb Technical College to light the student tree
The Covington Campus of DeKalb Technical College will host the second annual "Lighting of the Student Tree" on November 27, 2007. Last year’s event was so memorable that students requested that it become a campus tradition. The event includes holiday music, refreshments, and a guest appearance by Santa. All attendees can decorate an ornament, and these ornaments will be kept by the Student Government Association to be placed on future trees to honor DeKalb Tech students, friends, and family both present and past. The community is invited to join DeKalb Technical College students and staff in welcoming the holiday season on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at DeKalb Technical College, 16200 Alcovy Road, Covington, Ga. 30014 from 4 pm-6pm in Building-B.
