Clarkston Campus Renaissance

Phase 2

A great deal of progress has been made in the last thirty days. We have seen all foundation work on the classroom building completed and the slab poured.  The roof replacement project for A building has been completed and final inspections and sign-offs are in progress.  Steel deliveries are in progress and installation should begin on Monday, December 4th.

For those who work in A building, be aware that over the holiday break, the front windows will begin to disappear.  The contractor will be removing the glass windows and infilling with concrete block and drywall.  This is to meet code requirements for a two hour fire wall between the new classroom building and our existing A building.  Any windows not removed during the upcoming break will either be changed out on a Saturday or during the Spring break.  Target Completion Date for the Classroom Building is August 30, 2007.

Around the multipurpose building, the curb and gutter work is completed.  Also, the road base work is 80% complete.  If you take a look at this site, you will get a feeling for the size and height of the building.  The foundation work around the rim is in progress and is impressive in size.  This building will bring meeting room facilities to our campus. Target Completion Date for the Multipurpose Building is July 20, 2007.
