Clarkston Campus Renaissance

North and South Side Drives

Work began April 24, 2006 and proceeded with immediate removal of all trees and hedges. All drainage work has been completed on the South Drive, site grading is 80% complete and curbing for the drive has begun. The North Drive is about 1 week behind schedule. The drainage and utility work on the North Drive has been delayed due to some required Georgia Power activity that was completed on May 24th. Two crews will be brought in to work the North Drive site and weather permitting; all will be back on schedule shortly.

If you haven’t noticed, Georgia Perimeter College has opened a new entrance into Student Lot #5 which formerly was served off our drive. As you can see both driveways between our rear parking lot and GPC Lot #5 have been closed. As part of our North Drive construction, these two driveways will be closed permanently.
