Clarkston Campus Renaissance
New Parking Lots Opens
We all celebrate in the opening of the north drive and additional parking spaces that have been added on the north and south sides of our campus. Isn’t it great that we now have a way to travel from the North Indian Creek entrance to our rear parking lot without having to go around the GPC campus?
While we take pride in the new, many of us gathered at the windows and were saddened by the loss of the beautiful trees that adorned the front of our campus. |

At the same time, we rejoiced in the beginning of construction of the classroom building. As you can see from the most recent aerial photos (taken July 18, 2006), the campus landscape is changing daily as work moves forward in site grading, establishing a building pad, utility relocation, and placement of underground plumbing and electrical.
It will not be long before we see the foundation and underground walls being prepared. The pouring of the slab is scheduled for early October and the placement of the structural steel should begin in November. |
The re-roofing of “A” building is scheduled for the Fall Quarter break.
Parking is a problem, but we all knew this was going to happen. Every effort has been made to maximize every inch of space that we have remaining. Thank you for your patience and support. |
