Clarkston Campus Renaissance
Foundation, Curbing, and Roofing
What a difference one month can make, even if you lose seven (7) work days to rain. The front parking lot has taken shape and the base outline of the new building is forming. Foundation work on the classroom building is underway, the electrical and plumbing contractors are getting their below ground conduits and piping installed, the earth below the pad has been increased to match the current height of the first floor, and finally the roof of “A” building is being replaced.

The storm drainage work for the multi-purpose building has gone fast and is 98% complete. The next major change you will see in this area is curbing and base for the parking area that will face south. During October you will observe work on the foundation, elevator shaft, and south end wall. The work on this building is behind schedule, but with good weather, a lot of time will be made up in the next thirty days. |

Look closely at the picture to the right (click on image for a larger view) and you will see the outline for the “Portico” for the classroom building. Also, look at the top of “A” building and you will see the stacks of roofing materials. In next months pictures, we’ll see a white roof similar to what we have on B,C, & D buildings.
