Exit & Exit Retesting Schedule*
IF RETESTING IS REQUIRED, SUGGESTIONS FOR REMEDIATION:
If a student does not meet the score required for the area tested on the COMPASS exit exam, he/she will be allowed to retest after 7 days at a cost of $15. During the interim, he/she may remediate via the following ways:
-
Attend the Student Success Center at EITHER campus and work on Pass-Key and other tutorial web sites for test preparation. (We suggest a minimum or 25 hours.)
-
Attend COMPASS Prep Sessions at EITHER campus.
-
Attend the “Math ER” on the Clarkston campus, Room A-109, Multi-Media Mathematics on Fridays 11:30-3:00. Students from the Covington Campus are welcome to these sessions as well.
-
Take the COL 150 (EMP 150) course. Students that utilize this option will not be required to pay for the retest(s) given the 8th week of the quarter. The only documentation required for entry into testing will be a copy of the schedule and unofficial transcript. If the student is not successful after completing COL 150 (EMP 150) and requires another retest, there will be a $15.00 fee for the next retest.
