Special Workforce Services (SWS) at DeKalb Technical
College meets the needs of special populations within the community.
SWS consists of three programs: the Georgia Fatherhood Program,
the New Connections to Work Program, and the Workforce Investment
Act Program.
These programs are designed to prepare students to enter or
reenter the workplace by providing assessments, workshops, training,
support services, and job search assistance. Their primary goal
is to move students into gainful employment and self-sufficiency. |

DeKalb Technical College,
a unit of the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education,
is an accredited institution of higher education that provides
affordable and flexible learning opportunities in a welcoming
environment for all levels of adult students. It is an open
door, multi-campus, postsecondary, two-year technical college
that prepares students for successful employment and fulfilling
careers through state-of-the-art technical education and training.
