Workforce Investment Act
(WIA)
Program
is a federally funded project designed to assist discouraged
workers, unemployed and underemployed individuals, and students
seeking to enhance their skills for continued career advancement.

The WIA Program assesses and evaluates
current skills, provides classroom training, and delivers career
information and job placement assistance.

WIA Program students receive free tuition, books, and supplies
as required by their designated program of study. In addition,
the students may receive transportation, meal, and childcare
assistance.
